The map is the feed
Open the map and you get live listings where they are, clustered so a dense city stays readable and re-querying as you pan. It is the fastest way to answer the question that actually decides a deal: is this close enough that I will bother.
The map uses estimated points by default. Sellers control whether to share an exact listing location.
Search that understands the question
Flipns runs two searches at once — a keyword match over listing text and a meaning match over what each listing is about — then merges and re-ranks the results. That is why “cheap phone for my mother” returns phones rather than nothing, and why a listing that never uses the word you typed can still be the best answer.
Typeahead suggestions run against the same index, and filters for category, condition, price and distance narrow it further.
Every category, in every city, has a real URL
People search for a product and a place — a new phone from a local shop, a used sofa in Delhi, or furniture available nearby — so Flipns gives each category and city a genuine, server-rendered page rather than a filter state hidden behind a query string.
Those pages carry live prices, the cities nearby, breadcrumbs, an FAQ and structured data, which is what makes them citable by search engines and by AI assistants alike.
- flipns.com/c/<category> — a category across the whole of India
- flipns.com/c/<category>/<city> — the most specific page: category in one city
- flipns.com/place/<city> — everything currently listed in one city
Come back to what you were watching
Save any listing and it lands in one place on your account, so a decision you want to sleep on does not depend on finding the item again. Sellers get the other half of the same picture: view counts and interest on their own listings, so they can tell a price problem from a photo problem.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I browse Flipns without an account?
- Yes. Browsing, searching, the map and every category and city page are open to anyone — no account and no app required. You only need an account to message a seller or to list something.
- Does Flipns show a seller's exact location?
- The map shows an approximate area by default. An exact listing point is shared only with the seller’s authorisation. Agree a meeting place in chat.
- How do I find listings in my own city?
- Open flipns.com/place/<city> for everything listed there, or flipns.com/c/<category>/<city> for one category in that city — for example a specific category of goods in Delhi, Mumbai or Bangalore.
- Does Flipns work outside India?
- India is currently enabled for buying and selling. Other countries open after review; public listing and seller pages can be read worldwide. Your country determines marketplace access, currency and feature availability.
