Buy, sell &
explore.
Discover new and used products from local sellers. Bring your catalogue online, show off what you sell and connect with buyers nearby — from one item to your shop's stock.
What Flipns is
Flipns is a marketplace for India where people buy, sell and explore what is available nearby — a two-year-old phone, a brand-new sofa still in its box, a flat to rent, a job going in the next street. Individuals, shops and local businesses can bring their new and used products online, with prices in rupees and condition stated on every item listing.
The thing that makes it different is that the listing writes itself. You add photographs, or paste a link to a product page, and an assistant comes back with the title, the description, the category, a condition grade and a suggested price. The twenty minutes of typing that stops most things ever being listed simply is not there any more.
Who it is for
Anyone with something to sell and no wish to build a website for it: somebody clearing a cupboard, a reseller who lists constantly, a shop with stock on shelves, a local business with products to show, an owner with a flat to let, or an employer with a role to fill.
Show off what you sell. Publish your products and share your public seller catalogue so nearby buyers can explore what is available — new and used — before they message you.
And on the other side, anyone who would rather buy the thing that already exists two kilometres away than have a new one shipped across the country.
How it pays for itself
Listing is free and Flipns takes no commission on a sale. The price you agree is the money you keep.
Revenue comes from sellers who choose to promote one particular item, at prices published in the app — 10 credits to feature a listing for a day, 8 to bump it back to the top, with pack prices shown at checkout. That is a deliberate choice: it means Flipns earns when it makes a seller's listing work harder, rather than by taxing every deal on the platform.
What Flipns is not
It is a classifieds marketplace, not a shop. It does not process payment for items, hold money in escrow, or arrange shipping or delivery — buyers and sellers settle directly when they meet.
We publish that as loudly as anything else, because the most common marketplace fraud in India works by convincing somebody that the platform is standing behind a transaction it has no part in. Nobody from Flipns will ever ask you for a one-time password, a UPI PIN or a card number.
Flipns is built for India today — rupee prices, Indian cities, support in English and Hindi. If you are looking to list somewhere else, it is not the right answer yet, and we would rather say so.
Frequently asked questions
- What is Flipns?
- An AI-assisted marketplace for India where individuals, shops and local businesses buy, sell and explore goods new and used, property for sale or rent, and job postings. You add photos, the assistant writes the listing, and you deal locally with the other person.
- Is Flipns free to use?
- Yes. Creating an account, browsing, messaging, listing and selling are free, and Flipns takes no commission on a sale. Credits are optional and pay only for promotion and a few metered extras, at prices published in the app.
- Which countries does Flipns operate in?
- India only. Prices are in rupees, the cities are Indian, and support runs in English and Hindi. If you are looking to list somewhere else, Flipns is not the right platform yet.
- Is Flipns safe to use?
- Profiles can carry phone and moderator-reviewed government-ID badges, ratings come from completed deals, and reporting escalates automatically. Flipns never handles your money, so nobody from Flipns will ever ask for a one-time password, a UPI PIN or a card number.
