Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Flipns. They matter most in one respect: Flipns is a venue where buyers and sellers find each other. Flipns is not a party to any sale, does not hold your money, and does not ship or inspect anything.

1. The agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Yuktiv Private Limited (“Flipns”, “we”, “us”), the operator of the Flipns website and mobile apps (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, listing an item, messaging another user or buying credits, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines and Cancellation & Refund Policy, each of which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract under the law applicable to you.
- You must not be barred from using the Service under applicable law, and you must not have been previously banned from Flipns.
- If you use Flipns on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business, and “you” means both you and it.
Country availability and local rules
Participation and paid services are enabled country by country. Public listing and public seller pages may be read worldwide and indexed by search engines, even where participation is unavailable. An accessible page does not mean that local selling or payments are supported.
We use network location and account information to determine your country automatically. In supported markets you may list, contact sellers, make offers and use marketplace features only within your account country. Do not misrepresent your location or bypass restrictions. Contact support if your detected country is wrong or you have relocated. Availability may differ by payment provider and app store.
Device location is optional and requires browser or operating-system permission. An approximate listing pin is public by default; an exact location is disclosed only through the seller-authorised sharing options. Review a pin and any address before publishing, especially a home address.
Business sellers must comply with local product safety, disclosure, licensing, tax and consumer duties, including any required business identity and returns information. Our Market Terms supplement these Terms. Mandatory local rights take priority over conflicting wording.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep it current. Your phone number or email is your identity on Flipns.
- Never share a one-time password. Flipns staff will never ask for one. Anyone with your OTP can take over your account.
- One person, one account. Do not create additional accounts to evade a suspension, inflate ratings, manipulate reviews, or bypass limits.
- Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You may not sell, rent or hand over an account, a username or a verified badge.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Flipns is a venue, not a party to your deal
Concretely, for every transaction arranged through Flipns:
- The contract of sale is between the buyer and the seller. Flipns is not the seller, buyer, agent, or escrow agent and holds no money on either side.
- Flipns does not take payment for items, does not guarantee that payment will be made, and does not reverse a payment made outside the Service.
- Flipns does not ship, store, collect, deliver or insure any item.
- Flipns does not inspect items, authenticate goods, or verify a seller’s title to what they list. Descriptions, photos, prices and condition claims are the seller’s alone.
- A verified badge means we checked an identity document at a point in time. It is not a guarantee of honesty, of product quality, or of a completed deal.
Inspect before you pay, meet in a public place, and read the Safety Centre before your first deal.
5. Listing rules
- List only items you own, are legally entitled to sell, and actually have. Describe them honestly, with your own photos of the real item.
- Use the currency shown for your listing country and the real asking price. No bait pricing, no hidden charges revealed later.
- One listing per item. Do not repost the same item repeatedly to game the feed.
- Put the item in the right category, and mark it sold or remove it once it is gone.
- No phone numbers, WhatsApp links, email addresses, social handles or QR codes in listing text or images. This is checked automatically and the listing will be rejected. Keep the conversation on Flipns, where there is a record if something goes wrong. If you want your number shown, use the paid contact option.
- Prohibited items are listed in the Community Guidelines. Posting one is a breach of these Terms.
6. Conduct
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, defame, stalk or discriminate against another user, or publish someone’s private information.
- Defraud anyone — including advance-fee requests, fake payment proof, collect requests disguised as payments, or non-delivery after payment.
- Impersonate another person, business or Flipns itself.
- Spam, scrape, crawl, or use bots, scripts or automated means to access the Service; probe or interfere with its security; or reverse-engineer any part of it.
- Manipulate ratings, reviews, likes or search ranking, including by trading reviews or using additional accounts.
- Use the Service for anything unlawful under applicable law.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you post. By posting, you grant Flipns a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service, including generating thumbnails, search indexes and embeddings. The licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies we must keep for legal, safety or backup reasons.
You confirm you have the rights to everything you post and that it does not infringe anyone else’s intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights. If you believe content on Flipns infringes your rights, write to the Grievance Officer with details of the work, the URL, and a statement of good-faith belief; see the contact page.
8. Credits
8.1 What credits are
Credits are Flipns’s in-app currency and the only thing Flipns sells. Credits are service units, with no universal cash or foreign-exchange value. Pack prices, currency, taxes and credit quantities are shown at checkout and may differ by country and store. They are used to feature or boost a listing, unlock or reveal contact options, forward buyer messages by WhatsApp or SMS, submit an identity verification, and buy a premium seller plan.
8.2 What credits are not
- Credits are not money, not a bank deposit and cannot be used to pay another user for goods. They are a limited licence to access Flipns features.
- Credits are non-transferable — they cannot be gifted, resold, pooled or moved between accounts — and cannot be exchanged for cash or withdrawn.
- Credits carry no interest and confer no ownership in Flipns.
8.3 Buying, spending and expiry
- Credits do not expire while your account is in good standing.
- A credit is consumed the moment you spend it on a feature. Time-limited features (a boost, a featured slot, a premium plan) start immediately and run for the stated duration.
- If a feature fails to activate after we have debited your wallet, the debit is reversed automatically.
- Prices for metered features — such as per-message forwarding — track what our delivery providers charge us and may change. The current price is always shown before you confirm.
- Refunds are governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy. Completed credit purchases have no voluntary cancellation or change-of-mind refund, whether spent or unspent. Failed payments, technical faults, mandatory legal rights and store remedies are addressed in that policy.
- If an account is banned for fraud, chargeback abuse or a serious breach of these Terms, any unspent credit balance may be forfeited and the wallet blocked, subject to applicable law and any remedies that cannot be excluded.
9. Moderation, suspension and appeals
Flipns is an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000. We do not pre-approve every listing, but we do act on reports and on automated signals. Where we reasonably believe content or conduct breaks these Terms, the Community Guidelines or the law, we may:
- remove or hide a listing, comment, review or message;
- issue a warning;
- restrict features, block a wallet, or limit visibility;
- suspend or permanently ban the account; and
- report the matter to law enforcement where we are required to, or where there is a risk to someone’s safety.
Repeated reports against the same target are triaged automatically for human review. Every enforcement decision is logged. If you think a decision was wrong, appeal by opening a support ticket (Settings → Help & support) or writing to the Grievance Officer; appeals are answered by someone other than the original decision-maker where practicable.
10. Third-party services
Payments, maps, SMS, email, push delivery and AI assistance are provided by third parties named in our Privacy Policy. Their own terms apply to their services. Flipns is not responsible for a third party’s outage, decision or error, though we will help you resolve anything that affects your account.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flipns disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that listings are accurate, that a buyer or seller will behave honestly, or that any item is genuine, safe, legal or as described.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flipns is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for loss of profit, goodwill, data or opportunity, arising from your use of the Service.
Flipns’s total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid Flipns for credits in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) ₹1,000. In particular, Flipns is not liable for any loss arising from a transaction between users — including non-payment, non-delivery, a counterfeit or faulty item, or a dispute at handover.
Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
13. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Flipns, its directors, employees and agents from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or a transaction you entered into with another user.
14. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Flipns at any time and delete your account from Settings → Privacy → Delete account or through the account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your access where you breach these Terms, where required by law, or where continuing would create a risk to other users. Sections 7, 11, 12, 13 and 15 survive termination.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Except where mandatory local law provides otherwise, the courts at Jind have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
You may contact support or our Grievance Officer to resolve a dispute. This does not prevent you from contacting a regulator, seeking urgent relief, or using a competent court. Consumers retain mandatory protections and any right to bring proceedings in their country of residence.
16. Grievance Officer and contact
Under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, our Grievance Officer is Arvind, reachable at contact@flipns.com. Full postal and telephone details, and our response times, are on the contact page.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product and the law change. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the current version, and we will give notice in the app before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use Flipns afterwards means you accept the updated Terms.
